Each Vizier has four attributes: Military, Research, Politics, and Prestige. The attribute not only contribute toward the total Empire Power but also impact levied taxes and a Vizier's PvP and PvE fighting strength. A Vizier's attributes can be increased in seven possible ways: Leveling Up, Badges, Book XP, Attribute Books, Almighty Badge, Consort Bonus (if applicable), and Harmony (if applicable).
Leveling Up[]
After selecting the desired Vizier, and you if can afford the gold cost, may increase his level by tapping the purple icon. Leveling up your Viziers increases all of his/her attributes by a percentage.
Badges, Almighty Badge, and Book XP[]
After selecting the desired Vizier, tap on the Develop tab. The Develop tab lists the Vizier's specialties. Each specialty has its own level that can be increased. The number of stars indicates the probability of whether a Badge will fail if applied. Specialties with only one star have a 100% success rate when leveling up with the corresponding badge. Specialties with two stars have a 50% success rate, three stars have a 33% success rate, and so on.
Almighty Badges always have a 100% success rate.
Leveling with Book XP also always has a 100% success rate, but the amount of XP required to level a particular talent depends on the number of stars. A one-star talent requires 200 XP to level, a two-star talent requires 400 XP, and so on. While leveling higher star talents is more expensive per level, the actual cost to generate each additional talent point is 200 XP per point.
(Both a Level 2 five-star talent and a Level 5 two-star talent are worth 10 total talent points. Raising a five-star talent from Level 1 to Level 2 costs 1000 XP and generates an extra 5 talent points. Raising a two-star talent from Level 1 to Level 5 costs 1600 XP but generates an extra 8 talent points. Thus there is no cost advantage per additional talent point for either choice.)
Attribute Books[]
There are five types of books: Attribute books, which are purple; Military books, which are red; Research books, which are blue; Prestige books, which are yellow; and Politics books, which are green. Purple Attribute Books will increase a random attribute while the other books will only increase the attribute after which they are named.
Volumes add 5000 points, Tomes add 1000 points, Books add 500 points, and Booklets add 100 points.
Consort Bonus[]
Each time a consort is visited in the Harem, she accrues XP. Her XP can be then applied to the Vizier she is linked to. The consort must have a minimum of 10 Intimacy points in order to apply her XP to the Vizier.
Harmony[]
Harmony bonus affects Viziers who are members of The Four or The Five. Each time you collect ten Magnificent Badges, you may claim a Vizier from The Five. Each time you collect ten Outstanding Badges, you may claim a Vizier from The Four. After all five of The Five have been claimed, future sets of ten Magnificent Badges may then be applied to theszxas Viziers' Harmony Bonus. The same applies to The Four. Once all four have been claimed, future sets of ten Outsdaasdasdsdasdasdtanding Badges may then be applied to these Viziers' Harmony Bonus.
